Over the years, it has been Uni-Pharma’s tradition to celebrate victories as a Family. This year is no exception as UPPI employees, together with some special guests and family members, marched towards Subic Bay, especially known for being home to once the largest U.S. military naval base in Asia. On October 11-13, 2021, UPPI celebrated its 9th anniversary in Hotel Kamana Sanctuary Resort and Spa in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Welcomed by no less than Uni-Pharma’s President and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Noel Fortin, employees and special guests/friends casually gathered together on the evening of October 11th for shared meals, fun games, some singing, and a “toast” to recognize each UPPI member’s contribution to achieving such a milestone.
Mr. Fortin, together with the other members of the Board, Mr. Alex Dueñas, Mr. Russell Luna, Mr. Elmer Opiña, and Ms. Rosette Balagtas, spent an abundant time with UPPI employees that night, sharing warm greetings and conversations, as one way of showing their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude. Also, because this is one of those rare times when all UPPI employees get to spend time together as a Team, especially since it expanded middle of the year. A growing UPPI family went on to celebrate the event by taking group pictures to welcome and include the newest members.
The following day (Oct 12) was rest and recreation (R&R) where employees spent the whole day as they pleased. Something that is hardly done in the industry, especially during a working day! Indeed, the UPPI leaders are very generous not only in sharing financial blessings that are above industry standards but likewise in gifting their employees with some leisure time to recharge and unwind. Despite the “bed” weather, as typhoon “Maring” stormed the northern part of Bataan with signal #1, it did not stop UPPI employees from having as much fun and adventure throughout their stay whilst strictly following the minimum health standards.
October 13th was the check-out date and was spent by some with last-minute shopping in the nearby retail store outlets. Talk about early Christmas shopping! The overall experience of this event is undeniably inspiring for each employee, to say the least. Something rare. Something UNIquely UNI-Pharma’s.
