Formulation: Ceftriaxone 1 g Powder for Injection
Indications: It is used in the treatment of pneumonia, respiratory tract infection (such as bronchitis), otorhinolaryngeal infection, renal and urinary tract infections, septicemia, meningitis, protection of pre-operation or post-operation infection, bone and joint infection, skin or injury or soft tissue infection, peritonitis, cholecystitis, gastrointestinal infection (such as cholangitis), & genital infection (such as gonorrhea).
Dosage: The usual daily dose is 1 to 2 g given intravenously or intramuscular. The total daily dose not exceed 4 g in infections caused by pathogenic bacteria.
Side Effects: Carefully observe because shock rarely appeared. Discontinue treatment when there is discomfort in the mouth, wheeze, vertigo, tinnitus, sweating and treat accordingly.
Storage: Store at temperatures not exceeding 30ºC.
