With this medium we will now be able to showcase our company to all stakeholders – customers, suppliers, current and potential business partners, and friends – for their better understanding and appreciation about our role in preserving the health of our fellow Filipinos, and all those who will be needing our products.

Uni-Pharma turns 5 years old this year of 2017, and through the peaks and the valleys  and the successes and the challenges that accompanied us all these years, we can probably encapsulate our journey in this simple phrase:  UNI-PHARMA HAS ARRIVED.

And since it would be safe at this point to define ourselves already as a key and crucial player in the war against disease, may we be given the privilege to summarize our achievements and milestones that have helped establish who we are as a company:

Expansion of our portfolio: From injectable antibiotics in the first two years of operations, we added anti-ulcerants in our arsenal, and have captured sizeable market shares in the key hospitals where we compete. A year later we joined the oral products category and concentrated in cough and anti-asthma segments where we were able to penetrate major drugstore chains. In 2015, buoyed by our strings of success, we entered a very important market: critical care. Today this portfolio is going to banner the company in growth in the coming years.

Expansion of our geographic borders: From a small customer base when we started, we relentlessly worked on having our company accredited in major private and government hospitals in Metro Manila. Having seized the opportunity to expand into other important cities and provinces outside of NCR, we appointed and authorized well-established, capable and competent distributors to handle our operations in their locales. Today we are already well-represented across the country.

Retention and attraction of talents: The company places premium importance in people as a key growth driver. We train, develop and empower our people, particularly our territory managers, to act like real businessmen. Thus it is of no surprise that we have almost zero turnover of employees since we started, owing to their high levels of motivation and dedication to the company.

Economic benefits for our people: The message was clear when we started: create the wealth together, then share the wealth to everyone. Today we have an unprecedented incentive package that is unmatched in the industry, high salary scales, car plan, health insurance, travels domestic and abroad, and opportunities for professional growth.

Lives saved and health restored in so many patients: This is the core of our business: being able to make a difference in the lives of people. We made sure from day one that everybody understood our mission – that it is patients, not profits, that would be the central and gravitating force in our day-to-day business. If we take care of patients, profits will follow. Thus it made us extremely proud that about 7,000 patients have been saved from life-threatening infections in 2016 alone with our products, with thousands more healed from ulcers, asthma, cough, and other sicknesses.
